I began an endowment fund at Seattle University to award nursing scholarships to deserving nursing students. We have now assisted 53 amazing people in achieving their dream of becoming a nurse.

Little-known fact
I grew up ski racing for Crystal Mountain Alpine Club. The experiences of traveling throughout the Western U.S. and Canada forged friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Ski racing also taught me responsibility as everything falls on your shoulders as an individual sport.

Little-Known Fact
I played Trumpet in a 2 Seattle based Funk & Soul bands until I was 27. We played all over the Western US and opened shows for some of the biggest names in music. I also recorded with some very well known talents.
